Janet Jaworski

My art is a collection of my surroundings. I work my oil in layers problem solving so that in the end I capture the essence of a time and place. A solitary childhood honed an eye for observations that flourished with mark making and paint. Art took detour with a career in graphic design. But then I began seriously studying art with various teachers and my passion for color and shapes within forms took hold. The resulting compositions redefines the subjects to show the viewer another perceptive. For the last decade my surroundings reflect the birth of the coastal landscape I call home.
